In the Turgutlu district of MANİSA, Gökhan G. (29) bit off the nose of his wife İmran G. (28), with whom he had an argument. Gökhan G. was taken into custody by the police.
The incident took place yesterday around 23:00 in Yıldırım District Badem Street. The argument that broke out between Gökhan G. and his wife İmran G. for an undetermined reason quickly turned into a fight. Gökhan G. bit off his wife İmran G.'s nose and ripped it off. Hearing the sounds, the neighborhood reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notice, police, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the address.
When the door did not open, the teams took security measures. While fire crews set up a jumping bed in front of the building in case of a possible negativity, Imran G. was evacuated from the balcony with the fire truck's ladder. Police teams entered the house with the support of the fire brigade and detained Gökhan G.
After the first intervention at Turgutlu State Hospital, İmran G. was referred to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital for plastic surgery treatment. It was stated that the two girls, aged 5 and 7, who were at home at the time of the incident, were in good condition.
On the other hand, while the suspect was being removed from the house by the police teams, a short-term fight broke out between the neighborhood residents who reacted to the incident and the security forces.
