Stating that tradesmen and craftsmen also took part in the squares on the night of July 15 to defend the will of the nation, TESK President Palandöken said, "The treacherous coup attempt targeting the unity and solidarity of our country on the night of July 15, 2016 was failed, thanks to the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the courage of our nation. That night, as in all over Türkiye, our tradesmen and craftsmen left their workplaces, their earnings and their daily hustle aside. Our tradesmen, who have protected their homeland, flag and democracy, have shown once again that they are one of the strongest representatives of not only economic life, but also national unity and solidarity. This common stance put forward on July 15 is the clearest indication that our nation will not give up its independence and national will under any circumstances.
