Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) President Abdullah Eren attended the open-air classroom opening held by TIKA in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
At 22 Oktobar Primary School in Belgrade, a new education area was created in the school garden, built by TIKA, where students can receive education in touch with nature, make scientific observations and carry out various social activities.
TİKA President Eren stated that 700 students received education in the school they opened.
Noting that 150 Muslim students also receive education at the school, Eren said:
"We built an open classroom here, as a gift from Türkiye. The project will be instrumental in improving the relations between Turkey and Serbia. TIKA supports our children all over the world with development projects. Our brothers and sisters will receive education in the open classroom here and hopefully they will walk towards a beautiful future."
In addition to senior Serbian officials, Türkiye's Belgrade Ambassador İlhan Saygılı and students, teachers, parents and many guests attended the opening.
