It was reported that the Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has purchased over 5 million tons of grain.
A post regarding grain purchases was made from TMO's social media account.
In the statement, which noted that grain purchasing activities, launched on June 3, are continuing intensively across Turkey, it was stated: "As of today, our purchase quantity exceeding 5 million tons is more than just a statistical data point; it represents a colossal national wealth large enough to fill 200,000 trucks to full capacity."
On the other hand, the statement also extended gratitude to the producers who trusted the institution and brought their hard work to TMO, as well as to the employees on duty.
