AK Party Mardin Provincial Chairman Mehmet Uncu published a message on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
In his message, Uncu stated that on the night of July 15, 2016, our beloved nation, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, protected its will, democracy, state and independence at the expense of its life and signed a unique epic written in golden letters in history.
Uncu stated that the coup attempt that FETO member traitors tried to carry out was frustrated by the unshakable unity and solidarity of the nation and was eliminated by the sacrifice of the martyrs, the courage of the veterans and the determined stance of the beloved nation, and said:
"July 15 is not only the day when a coup was prevented, but also a historical turning point where the will of the nation clearly won against all tutelage centers. The epic written that night became one of the strong foundations of the Turkish Century. Today, our duty is to protect the trust of our martyrs, to be grateful to our veterans, to further strengthen our democracy and to always preserve our unity. On this occasion, on the anniversary of the 15 July Democracy and National Unity Day, our homeland I commemorate all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their sake, with mercy, gratitude and gratitude, and I wish our heroic veterans a healthy and peaceful life. May God never let our nation experience such dark nights again. May our unity, solidarity and brotherhood be eternal.
