According to the news of Jordan's official news agency PETRA, based on an unnamed military official, air defense systems destroyed the ballistic missiles fired from Iran in the morning.
The official said, "Our air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 3 ballistic missiles coming from Iranian territory and entering Jordanian airspace this morning." shared his knowledge.
Emphasizing that Jordanian airspace is "an integral part of the country's sovereignty", the official stated that there was no loss of life or material damage in the incident.
Emphasizing the determination to protect border and airspace security, the military officer said:
"The Jordanian Armed Forces reject any violation of Jordan's sovereignty. We will act within the framework of the approved rules of engagement against any threat to our airspace, and all measures will be taken uncompromisingly and without delay to protect national security."
