In Konya, a person killed his own sister and stepmother by slitting their throats after an argument. The suspect, who did not harm his father at home, was taken into custody by police teams.
The incident took place around 14:00 in the 3-storey building located on Hilmidede Street in Işıklar District of the central Selçuklu district. According to the information obtained, R.Ö., who lives in the apartment on the second floor of the building, started arguing with his stepmother Dursuniye Öztürk and his sister Esmanur Öztürk. During the argument, R.Ö. cut the throats of his stepmother Dursuniye Öztürk and his sister Esmanur Öztürk with the knife he took from the kitchen. Upon the notice of the neighbors, many police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the intervention of the police teams, the suspect was taken into custody before he could escape from the scene. During the first intervention of the medical teams, it was determined that Dursuniye Öztürk and Esmanur Öztürk died at the scene. The father of the suspect, who was at home during the incident, was taken to the hospital for control.
