A car rolled down the slope while making a maneuver at the observation deck in Uzungöl, the world-famous tourism center of Trabzon's Çaykara district. Two Arab tourists, a Yemeni husband and wife, were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred at around 13.20 on the viewing terrace of Uzungöl district of Çaykara district. According to the information received, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report that a vehicle flew from the slope into the forest area while maneuvering. After long efforts of the medical and gendarmerie teams, the injured Yemeni Arab tourists Hüseyin Abdullah B. (36) and his wife Manrat Aidros A. (22) were carried from their location by ambulance on a stretcher and taken to Of State Hospital.
On the other hand, it was learned that a tourist in the Georgian tourist group, who was walking on the stairs of the observation terrace leading down to the lake during the traffic incident, narrowly escaped being run over by the car. It was stated that the Georgian tourist was injured in his foot while trying to escape from the vehicle.
