A livestock breeder in Turhal district of Tokat, who works in animal husbandry, attended his friend's ring ceremony with a tick attached to his leg, carrying the tick on him for hours before going to the hospital.
The incident occurred in Necip village, part of Turhal district. Hadi Çelik, who is involved in animal husbandry, had a tick attach to him while he was in the field. Çelik, who left home to attend his friend's ring ceremony, checked his leg after noticing an itch. Seeing the tick attached to his leg, Çelik postponed going to the hospital to avoid missing the ceremony. Çelik, who had previously been bitten by ticks twice, attended his childhood friend's ring ceremony with the tick on his leg. After the ceremony, Çelik went to the hospital and had the tick removed by medical teams.

Hadi Çelik, stating that they frequently encounter ticks throughout the year due to their involvement in animal husbandry, said, "I reside in Necip village. I am involved in animal husbandry. We have small ruminants. Naturally, we are out in the fields. This year, there are many ticks in the fields. My brother has probably had a tick attach to him for the 30th time. Today, it was my 3rd tick. Today was also my friend's ring ceremony. We postponed having the tick removed. If fate permits, we will have the tick removed after the ring ceremony. We have no choice but to go to the ring ceremony with the tick, no matter what. I will go to my friend's ring ceremony with the tick. Then we will go to the hospital to have it removed.
