30 smoothbore hunting rifles, which were confiscated during the inspections carried out by the Erzurum Nature Conservation and National Parks (DKMP) Directorate and whose ownership was transferred to the public, are being put up for sale through a negotiated tender.
According to the information obtained, smoothbore hunting rifles, which were confiscated by the Erzurum DKMP Directorate for being used in illegal hunting and whose ownership was transferred to the public, will be sold by "Bargaining Procedure" in accordance with the relevant article of the State Procurement Law.
Certain documents will be requested from the bidders who will participate in the tender of 30 smoothbore shotguns to be tendered by Erzurum DKMP. Rifle dealers who wanted to participate in the tender were required to submit their "valid hunting rifle sales certificate" to the commission, and individuals were required to submit their "smooth rifle purchase certificate", which they would receive from the highest civil authority of the locality, to the commission.
Rifles Will Be On View Until August 8
Tender specifications can be obtained free of charge from Erzurum Nature Conservation and National Parks Directorate during working hours. Bidders will be able to physically examine the rifles of different brands offered for sale at the Erzurum DKMP Directorate building during working hours between 13 July and 8 August 2026. According to the specifications, the tender commission is free to hold the tender or not, and may exclude any of the rifles from the scope of the tender if it deems necessary.
The estimated prices for smoothbore rifles of different brands have also become clear. While a luxury hunting rifle was at the top of the sales list with an estimated price of 42 thousand 340 TL, the price of the cheapest rifle on the list was determined as 4 thousand 170 TL. - ERZURUM
