Rasim Feyzan Doğu, which started production in Antalya in 2014 with one machine, one mold and two personnel, today produces automotive spare parts and industrial plastic parts with 243 people in a 47 thousand square meter facility.

Doğu, which started its production journey in 2014 with the aim of producing imported automotive spare parts in Türkiye, turned it into an industrial investment with 2,500 molds in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone.

The factory produces automotive spare parts such as bumpers, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, door pockets and rocker panels, as well as industrial parts for ice cream machines, motor bearings for washing and dishwashers, agricultural equipment used in greenhouses and spray guns.

Doğu told the AA correspondent that after doing automotive spare parts wholesale for many years, they decided to focus on production with the second generation joining the company in the 2010s.

Stating that they were excited by the idea of ​​producing the products they sold in Türkiye during a period when imports of automotive spare parts were intense, Doğu said, "Our imports of car spare parts were very high. 'Can we produce these?' So we set off. We started production in 2014 with one machine, one mold and two personnel. Today, we produce car spare parts and other products with a total of 243 people in approximately 47 thousand square meters." he said.

Doğu stated that he was born in Antalya and that they continued production here because his family and commercial networks were located in the city, and that they were in an advantageous position in terms of proximity to the Anatolian market.

Pointing out that the main purpose of his initiatives is to prevent imports, Doğu said:

"Since we know what we are doing, what we are buying, what the prices are in China and Europe, we ask, 'How about we produce this?' We started with a mold and a machine. We are currently doing a job that we are satisfied with, with 2,500 molds and 243 people. If a product is imported and it is a car spare part, such as bumpers or lighting, it is already on our radar. "If the price performance is appropriate, we strive to produce that product."

Doğu stated that domestic production provides advantages for both wholesalers and end users, and noted that they contribute to the market with on-time delivery, right prices and reasonable maturity opportunities.

Stating that the production of quality products equivalent to the original will contribute to reducing costs, Doğu said, "One of the questions we are asked most is 'How much do you export?' It's happening. However, 'How much import are you blocking?' I would be happier if they asked. Because exporting is of course valuable, we also have exports. However, my concern is to be able to produce it in our country if a product is imported." he said.

New lighting investment of 14 million dollars

Rasim Feyzan Doğu stated that the new project that excites the company the most is vehicle lighting.

Doğu stated that they have been producing and selling old generation vehicle lighting products for 14 months and that they have invested approximately 14 million dollars for new generation products and said:

"Yeni yaptığımız yatırım yaklaşık 14 milyon dolar değerinde. Altı ay içerisinde faaliyete geçip orada da ithal ürünün önünü keseceğimize inanıyoruz. LED'li, viraj dönen ve matrix farlar gibi teknoloji gerektiren yeni nesil ürünlerin Türkiye'de üretimi henüz yok. Biz bununla ilgili 4 senedir yatırım yapıyoruz. Yeni fabrikamız ile birlikte bunun da üretimine başlamış olacağız. Bu benzer üretim noktalarının yüzde 99'u Çin ve Tayvan'da. Dünyanın en büyük iki üreticisi Tayvan'da yer alıyor. Bunun karşısında biz Türkiye içerisinde güçlü bir rakip olacağımıza inanıyoruz."

Yatırım teşvik belgesini Ocak 2026'da aldıklarını, KOSGEB'den de dijitalleşme yatırımı desteği sağladıklarını belirten Doğu, kamu desteklerinden memnun olduklarını ifade etti.

Touching on the importance of competitive conditions in foreign trade, Doğu said, "While regulating trade, we want the products coming from abroad to compete in the same league, in the same track as us. This is enough for us." he said.
