In Onikişubat district, the route is constantly changing due to road activities and the lack of sufficient direction signs at some points makes citizens suffer. Finally, 72-year-old retired car driver Remzi Kaplan entered the road, which was used as a single lane in the changing traffic flow due to ongoing infrastructure activities in the region. The driver, who stated that other vehicles were driving on the same route, was imposed an administrative fine of 10 thousand liras by the traffic teams for 'driving in the opposite direction'.
The retired driver, who objected to the administrative fine of 10 thousand liras, applied to the Kahramanmaraş Criminal Court of Peace and requested the cancellation of the penalty.
Kaplan said, "I had an appointment at the hospital. The roads were closed due to activity, so I drove on a single-lane road. They fined me 10 thousand lira, and I demand that this fine be cancelled. I have never encountered anything like this on the road before. Companies block roads as they wish.
