In the statement made by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, in the inspections carried out by control officers authorized throughout the province, it is checked whether the combine harvesters cause grain loss during harvest, whether the operators have the necessary documents and whether they take the necessary precautions against fire.
It was stated that the inspections aim to ensure that the products grown by farmers with great effort and cost are harvested in accordance with the technique, with the least loss of grain and stem, to prevent the loss of national wealth and to minimize the grain damage that may occur during harvest.
Farmers were asked to check their fields during harvest and to notify provincial and district agricultural directorates in cases of excessive grain loss.
