Galatasaray, the champion of the last 4 seasons in the Super League, officially made its first transfer in the 2026-2027 season.
Galatasaray recently added Lesley Ugochukwu, who plays for Championship team Burnley, to its squad on loan with the option to purchase.
Lesley Ugochukwu, who the yellow-red team announced would come to Istanbul this evening, arrived in Istanbul around 20.30.
Expressing his happiness for his transfer to Galatasaray, Ugochukwu said, "When I was little, I dreamed of playing in big teams. Now I have come to a big club like Galatasaray. "I am very happy and proud," he said.
Lesley Ugochukwu, born in France, was born on March 6, 2004. The 1.90 tall midfielder plays for Burnley and has a contract with his club until 2030. Ugochukwu, whose market value is shown as 22 million euros, also played for Chelsea in his career.
The 22-year-old young midfielder, who played in 38 matches in all competitions last season, scored 3 goals in the opponent's goals.
