US Central Command announced that it targeted a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran using an armed unmanned aerial vehicle for attack on the sea for the first time.
In the statement made on the virtual media account of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), it was reported that a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran was attacked using a large number of unidirectional armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "Three Corsair unmanned aerial vehicles hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base. This marked the first time American forces used maritime unmanned aerial vehicles in combat operations," the statement said.
In the statement, which also shared images of the attack, it was stated that the operation was organized to weaken Iran's threat capacity against commercial ships.
