BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhua) -- A team of Chinese scientists has set a new world record in this category by developing a new type of solar cell that reaches a certified steady-state power conversion efficiency of 28.04 percent.
The team led by Li Yongfang and Meng Lei, researchers at the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, developed a high-performance perovskite-organic tandem solar cell using a photoconversion stabilizer. The activity was published online in the journal Nature on Monday.
