BISHKEK, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The 5th volume of the book "Xi Jinping: Governing China" was introduced at an event held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Participants stated that since the event held on Monday coincided with the 25th anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, it was of great importance for representatives from different segments of the two countries and the member countries of the organization to exchange views on the book.
This important work, which systematically reveals the theories and practices of Chinese modernization, vividly reveals China's vision and plan to build a community with a common future for humanity. The work is an authoritative source for understanding Chinese modernization and contemporary China.
The work also serves as an important guide for China and Kyrgyzstan to deepen their interaction on governance experiences and strengthen the harmony between their development strategies.
Approximately 300 representatives from political parties, media organizations, think tanks and other sectors in the two countries attended the event, which was jointly organized by the State Council Information Office of China, the China International Communications Group and the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
