In Bilecik, Mevlid-i Şerif was recited for the martyrs within the framework of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day programs.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day in Bilecik, the first address of the programs was at the martyrs' cemetery in the city cemetery. The program, attended by families of martyrs, veterans, provincial protocol, public institution managers and representatives of non-governmental organizations, started with a moment of silence and a salute of soldiers, and ended with Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer and his barbers laying carnations on the graves of the martyrs and praying.

Within the scope of the program, Mevlid-i Şerif was recited in the historical Orhangazi Mosque located in the historical Şeyh Edebali campus before the noon prayer. Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer, T.R. attended the program. Sinan Aksu, General Director of Foundations affiliated with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, AK Party Bilecik Provincial Chairman Serkan Yıldırım and institution managers attended.

In his statement after the program, AK Party Bilecik Provincial Chairman Serkan Yıldırım said, "In the Mevlid-i Şerif program held in Orhangazi Mosque on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, we commemorated our beloved martyrs with mercy, gratitude and prayers together with our General Manager of Foundations Sinan Aksu and members of our organization. The cherished memory of our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country will always live in the hearts of our nation. My Lord, all our martyrs "May they elevate their positions and rest in peace," he said.

On the other hand, after the Mevlid-i Şerif, protocol members visited the Tomb of Sheikh Edebali and various treats were served to the mosque community and citizens. - BİLECİK
