UNITED NATIONS, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations Security Council held an emergency meeting on the latest situation in the Middle East at UN Headquarters in New York, July 13, 2026.
Sun Lei, Charge d'Affaires of China's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, stated that they were seriously concerned about the escalating tension around Yemen's Sanaa International Airport at the meeting on Monday and called for a reduction in tension in the war-torn country.
