In Bartın, Ukrainian Olena Mykhailovska converted to Islam and took the name Aylin.

Ukrainian national Olena Mykhailovska, who came to Turkey with the desire to convert to Islam, most recently applied to the Provincial Mufti's Office in Bartın, where she was visiting. The conversion ceremony held for Mykhailovska began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Provincial Deputy Mufti Oğuz Yılmaz, who provided information on the fundamental principles of Islam, stated: "I congratulate our sister who chose Islam by the grace of Allah and her own free will, and those who facilitated this beautiful process. Olena Mykhailovska, who researched the religion of Islam and chose to embrace it with her free will, has today opened a pure new chapter in her life by taking the name Aylin; she has become a sister to all Muslims in the world. May Allah grant her a life in accordance with His will in her new journey."

Mykhailovska, who accepted the religion of Islam by reciting the Shahada (declaration of faith), took the name Aylin.

Following the prayers, Aylin was presented with a conversion certificate, a Holy Quran, and various books. - BARTIN
