TRABZONSPOR Vice President Zeyyat Kafkas made statements about parting ways with Eren Mert, who is the head of the scout team in the claret-blue club, the new facility project and transfer activities. Kafkas emphasized that the club's interests are always at the forefront in Trabzonspor and said that they are working on 3 alternatives for the new facility and that they can make 2-3 more moves in the transfer.
Trabzonspor Vice President Zeyyat Kafkas answered the questions of the press members at Mehmet Ali Yılmaz Facilities. Referring to the widespread publicity surrounding the parting of ways with Eren Mert, the head of the Scout team, Kafkas stated that the issue was exaggerated more than necessary. Reminding that many professional employees have left the club in the last year, Kafkas said, "We will not continue with anyone who does not want to stay in Trabzonspor or has the slightest doubt about continuing their association. Because the Trabzonspor spirit and sense of belonging are as important to us as technical success. It is the club itself that makes people grow in Trabzonspor. Presidents, managers, football players and employees come and go. The main thing is Trabzonspor."
Stating that the expropriation process in the new facility project has reached its final stage, Kafkas said that a decision on the new location will be made after the expropriation price is determined. Stating that they are working on three different alternatives, Kafkas stated that the decision will be taken in line with common sense with club managers, political representatives and former managers. Stating that the priority is the construction of training fields, Kafkas stated that the football players will move from the current facility after the living spaces are completed.
Kafkas stated that he sees the Yıldız region on the seaside as the strongest candidate and said that the project can be implemented if 50 decares of filling activity is carried out here. Noting that there are also lands being evaluated in Araklı and Yomra, Kafkas stated that the area next to the stadium is the last option due to security concerns.
Stating that they aim to get rid of the high interest burden on the tax debt after the completion of the expropriation process, Kafkas said that they want to stop the interest burden of approximately 3 billion TL by making the payment in the first place.
Stating that the transfer activities are carried out professionally and away from the public, Kafkas said that reinforcements can be made in the wing, attack and defense areas in line with the report of coach Fatih Tekke. Kafkas said, "We are considering a winger, an attacker and another name similar to the profile of Felipe Augusto. If Chibuike leaves, the transfer of a centre-back may also be on the agenda. There may be 2-3 more transfers in the coming period. Our coach will make the final decision, and we, as the management, will conduct the negotiations."
'THERE ARE OFFERS FOR ONUACHU AND CHIBUIKE'
Explaining that Paul Onuachu received two offers from Türkiye and one from Saudi Arabia, Kafkas stated that the experienced striker is one of the important names in the team skeleton, but that attractive offers can be evaluated in line with the interests of the club.
Explaining that the new transfer Cabral received an offer before coming to Trabzon, Kafkas said, "Perhaps he was the first player to receive a transfer offer before coming to Trabzon. However, we never thought about it. Let's see the player first, then we will evaluate."
'OULAI'S TRANSFER MAY BE COMPLETED IN A FEW DAYS'
Stating that a large agreement has been reached between the clubs regarding the transfer of Inao Oulai, Kafkas said that the negotiations with the player's new club are expected to be completed. Stating that they expect the transfer to be finalized within a few days, Kafkas stated that the final decision regarding Chibuike will be made by President Ertuğrul Doğan and Coach Fatih Tekke. Emphasizing that Chibuike is one of the skeleton players of the team that is wanted to be protected, Kafkas said, "If very serious offers come, an evaluation can be made in line with the interests of Trabzonspor. However, under normal circumstances, we do not want to disrupt the skeleton squad. A long and intense fixture awaits us next season. For this reason, we continue to create a squad with alternatives. We have also completed the local rotation to a significant extent. Our new transfer is coming to Trabzon today."
