Barış Efe, who was martyred in Istanbul during the July 15 coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), was commemorated at his grave in Karabük's Eflani district.
In the program organized by Karabük Governorship at his grave in Efe's Çukurören village cemetery, the Holy Quran was read and prayers were said.
Later, Governor Oktay Çağatay, Eflani Deputy District Governor and Safranbolu District Governor Hayrettin Baskin, Eflani Mayor Hüsnü Akın, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Senior Colonel İsmail Gökcek, Provincial Police Chief Ahmet Canver and protocol members, accompanied by mother Nazife Efe, laid carnations on the grave of the martyr.
Protocol members also visited the house of the martyr's family in the village.
