A 2-year-old boy left alone at home by his family died in the flames - Last Minute

Berkant Kurt (2), who was left alone by his family at home and went to collect lindens, died in a fire in Davutlar village of KARABÜK.

The fire broke out around 16:00 in Kadıoğlu District of Davutlar village. Flames broke out in the single-storey house belonging to Ahmet Ç. for an unknown reason. The fire also spread to the single-storey houses belonging to Nurullah E. and Sadık E. Firefighter, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice that all 3 houses were burned. The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the fire brigade. After it was reported that a child named Berkant Kurt was alone in the house where the fire first broke out, the teams first intervened in the fire in that house. The teams entered the house after extinguishing the fire and found Berkant Kurt's lifeless body on the bed.

It was learned that the child was alone at home and his family was out to collect lindens. Following the action of the teams, the flames in 3 houses were extinguished. The child's lifeless body was taken to the morgue after examination. An investigation has been launched into the fire.
