The lifeless body of Arda İpek (18), who entered the Keban Dam Lake to cool off in Kovancılar district of ELAZIĞ, was found. His father and the person with him, who were struggling in the water, got to the shore with their own means.
The incident took place around 18.30 at Keban Dam Lake near Muratbağı village in Kovancılar district. The father, his son Arda İpek and a person next to them, who entered the dam lake to cool off, started struggling in the water after a while. While the father and the other person went to the shore with their own means, Arda İpek disappeared. Upon the notice, diver police teams from the health, gendarmerie, AFAD and Provincial Police Department Underwater Group Chief were dispatched to the region. As a result of the activities of police divers and search and rescue teams, the lifeless body of Arda İpek was found. Arda's body, which was taken out of the water, was taken to the Fırat University Hospital morgue for autopsy after the public prosecutor's examination at the scene.
