The 68-year-old pickup truck driver, who had a heart attack while driving in Samsun's Tekkeköy district, caused a traffic incident when the vehicle went out of control and entered the wooded area on the side of the road. The driver, who was taken to the hospital, died despite all interventions.
The accident occurred in Tekkeköy district Gelemen location, on the 25th kilometer of the Samsun-Ordu highway. According to the information obtained, the pickup truck with plate number 55 BZ 889, driven by Ali Torun (68), went out of control and entered the wooded area on the side of the road as a result of the driver having a heart attack behind the wheel. Upon notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Ali Torun, who was taken to the hospital after the first intervention of the medical teams, could not be saved despite all the interventions and lost his life.
