Police officer Fatih Dalgıç, who was martyred in the conflict that broke out at the Çengelköy Sabancı Police Station, where he went to help his friends in Istanbul during the treacherous coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016, was commemorated at his grave in the Çifteler district of Eskişehir.
The ceremony held at the Alikan District Cemetery was attended by the mother of the martyr Asiye Dalgıç and her relatives, as well as Eskişehir Governor Erdinç Yılmaz, Combat Air Force and Garrison Commander Air General Rafet Dalkıran, Tepebaşı District Governor Sadettin Yücel, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Erhan Demir, Provincial Police Chief Tolga Yılmaz, AK Party Provincial Chairman Gürhan Albayrak and citizens.
In the program, protocol members left red roses on the grave of martyr Dalgıç.
The commemoration program, which continued with a throw of respect and the recitation of the Holy Quran, ended after prayers.
After the program, the participants visited the family of martyr police officer Fatih Dalgıç in Alikan District.
