As part of a betting fraud investigation, four former club executives, who are alleged to have placed bets on the outcome and goals in favor of the opposing team in Boluspor matches during their tenure, were taken into custody during an operation.

In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, data belonging to football club executives between 2020-2026 was obtained from legal betting sites operating in Turkey and examined. During the examinations, individuals alleged to have created betting slips for outcomes, goal counts, and player-specific bets in favor of the opposing team regarding their own team's matches, during their time as executives at the clubs, were identified. Within the scope of the investigation, simultaneous operations were carried out in 10 provinces, centered in Istanbul, to apprehend 19 identified suspects. During the operations, 17 suspects were taken into custody, while 2 suspects were determined to be abroad. In the investigation, which also included the examination of financial data obtained by MASAK, findings regarding the suspects' betting activities were included in the file.

Among the suspects against whom proceedings have been initiated within the scope of the investigation are Murat Şabablı, Ali Şen, Halil İbrahim Yavaş, and Ali Gürsoy, who served as executives at Boluspor in previous periods. It was determined that Murat Şabablı placed 13 betting slips on outcomes or goal bets in favor of the opposing team in Boluspor matches during his tenure as an executive. During the examinations, Ali Şen was found to have 61 such betting slips, Halil İbrahim Yavaş 28, and Ali Gürsoy 22. While the investigation is being carried out comprehensively, proceedings are ongoing. - BOLU
